How to Enable Cookies
Cookies are bits of information that your computer stores to remember the settings and viewing preferences you choose when visiting a website. They allow us to provide you with better service by personalizing your visit.
Cookies must be enabled to make a purchase online, and so you can take advantage of special features, like product reviews, the Wishlist, and rewards points.
We can give you basic instructions for adjusting your browser to allow cookies. If you're unsure of what browser version you have, open your web browser, click on Help, and click the About option. If the browser you use is not listed here, click Help to search for more information.
Internet Explorer 8.x 7.x and 6.x
- Click on the Tools menu.
- Select Internet Options in the menu - a new window opens.
- Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window.
- Move the slider so that it is on Medium, Low, or Accept All Cookies.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
Internet Explorer 5.x
- Click on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer.
- Select the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens.
- Click on the Security tab near the top of the window.
- Click on the Custom Level... button near the bottom of the window.
- Scroll down to Cookies in the new dialog, and set both "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies to Enable.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
Firefox
- Click on the Tools menu in Firefox.
- Click on the Options item in the menu - a new window opens.
- Click on the Privacy tab.
- Expand the Cookies section.
- Check the Enable cookies and Accept cookies normally checkboxes.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
Opera
- Click on the Tools-menu in Opera.
- Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens.
- Click on the Privacy selection near the bottom left of the window.
- Check Enable cookies.
- Select Accept all cookies in the "Normal cookies" drop-down menu.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
Safari
- Click on the Safari-menu in Safari.
- Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens.
- Click on the Security icon near the top of the window.
- Under Accept Cookies select either:
- Always
- Only from sites you navigate to
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
AOL versions 9, 8 and 7
- Click Settings on the main toolbar. (On earlier versions, you may need to click My AOL
- Click Preferences.
- Click on Internet Properties (www).
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click on the Internet Zone, then click on the Custom Level button on the bottom of the window. The Security Settings window will appear.
- Scroll down until you see Cookies.
- Find the 'Allow cookies that are stored on your computer' subheading and click Enable.
- Click OK to save and exit.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
Netscape 7.x
- Click on the Edit-menu in Netscape.
- Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens.
- Expand the Privacy & Security selection in the left part of the window.
- Click on the Cookies selection.
- Under Cookie Acceptance Policy - check either:
- Enable all cookies
- Allow cookies based on policy settings
- If Allow cookies based on policy settings is selected, click on View and ensure that the level is at medium or low.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
Netscape 6.x
- Click on the Edit-menu in Netscape.
- Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens.
- Expand the Advanced selection in the left part of the window.
- Click on the Cookies selection.
- Check the Enable all cookies setting.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
- You should be able to add items to your shopping cart now.
