Platinum MTR™ Magnetic Ankle Support
The Platinum MTR magnetic ankle support is highly effective for providing a full range of ankle pain relief and reducing swelling and tenderness. It's excellent for relieving symptoms of Achilles tendonitis and ankle arthritis pain. It also helps speed up healing from ankle sprains and injuries.
The Platinum ankle support contains 8 of Therion's large, 4,300 gauss ceramic and 13,500 gauss neodymium magnets. (4 on each side of the ankle.) Therion's combination of large magnet size (3/4" dia. x 1/4" thick) and high-energy produces a much stronger magnetic field that penetrates completely through the ankle. This provides more significant relief of discomfort in less time.
Therion's Advanced Biomagnetics work to increase blood flow, carrying more oxygen to muscles and tendons. This helps reduce arthritis pain and improve tendon flexibility. In the case of an injury or sprain, greater blood flow will speed up the healing process by delivering more nutrients to damaged cells, and helping to remove swelling faster.
The Platinum ankle support also provides light compression around the ankle to help control swelling. It adjusts for a comfortable fit using Velcro, and can be put on or removed seconds. I have a torn tendon and arthritis in my foot. When I was having an MRI, I noticed a tingle in my foot, and amazingly I could walk much better afterwards. RESTRICTIONS:
- Do not use magnetic therapy if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump, or any other electro-medical device.
- Do not use magnetic therapy if you are pregnant.
- Do not use magnets on open or bleeding wounds
- Wait at least 2 weeks after a cortisone injection before using magnetic therapy over the same body area.
- Magnets should not be used near transdermal drug patches.
- Do not wear magnetic products while swimming, bathing, or showering. (Magnets can rust.)
CLEANING & CARE:
Therion supports are spot clean only. Use a cloth and warm water mixed with a mild soap to spot clean any necessary areas. Use a clean, damp cloth to remove any excess soap remaining on the support. Let the support air dry.
Do not machine wash. Do not soak in water. (Magnets can rust.)
