Thera-Dot™ Acupuncture Magnets
Thera-Dot neodymium acupuncture magnets are an easy, safe and comfortable alternative to acupuncture needles.
Thera-Dot neodymium acu-magnets have 3 to 4 times more energy than standard acupuncture magnets, making them stronger and faster-acting on acupuncture points.
Acupuncturists find Thera-Dots to be an indispensable tool. Rated at a very powerful 13,500 gauss, they transfer energy along meridians (acupuncture energy channels) much more efficiently, providing better results for patients.
Many patients prefer Thera-Dots too, because magnets are non-invasive. Anyone that does not like needles can still enjoy the same benefits of acupuncture, without the pinching. Patients can also ask their acupuncturists how to apply Thera-Dots at home to safely prolong health benefits in between treatment sessions.

Each Thera-Dot neodymium acu-magnet is 0.2" diameter x 0.1" thick, and has 24k gold plating. The bio-north pole has a permanent identification mark. Magnets are reusable.
Important:
Thera-Dots should only be used if you understand the proper application of magnets for acupuncture/acupressure, or under the guidance of a licensed acupuncturist.
If you are looking for pain relief by placing a magnet over a small area, we recommend using a Therion neodymium magnet therapy kit or a magnetic pad. (see Recommended Products)

Customer Testimonials
I’m going to be 82 years old and I don’t want to have to worry about knee replacement surgery. I use the magnets on my ankle and my knee. When I was in the hospital, I had to stop using the magnets and the pain came back. When I got home and put them on again, the pain went away. So I know they definitely work.

42 studies reported on 32 different clinical conditions in 6,453 patients from 1986 – 2007. 37 of 42 studies (88%) reported therapeutic benefit. Based on this literature review we believe further investigation of acu-magnet therapy is warranted, particularly for the management of diabetes and insomnia.

Usage:
- Remove one of the small, center circles from the paper behind an adhesive plaster.
- Apply a Thera-Dot to the small circle of adhesive, so the side to be used is facing up (still visible).*
- Remove the entire plaster from the paper.
- Center the magnet and plaster over the desired acupuncture point and press it to the skin.
Adhesive plasters should be replaced every 1-2 days or as needed.
* Apply either the bio-north (dispersing) or the bio-south (tonifying/stimulating) pole as required for each specific acupuncture point. The bio-north side is marked with a dot.
CAUTION:
- Do not use magnetic therapy if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump, or other implanted electro-medical device.
- Do not use magnetic therapy if you are pregnant.
- Do not use magnets near open or bleeding wounds
- Wait at least 2 weeks after a cortisone injection before using magnetic therapy over the same body area. (Cortisone and biomagnetics are antagonistic.)
- Magnets should not be used near transdermal drug patches.
- Keep away from children and pets. Magnets are not toys. Small magnets pose a choking hazard and can be harmful if swallowed. Contact a doctor immediately if magnets are swallowed.
